This policy explains what information we collect when you use thesafetrader.in, enrol in a course, or contact us — and what we do with it. Last updated 12 May 2026.
The Safe Trader ("TST", "we", "our", "us") is a trading-education service operated out of Rohini, New Delhi and New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. TST is currently run as a sole-proprietor operation by Pratyaksh Bedi; a registered legal entity is being set up and these details will be updated here once complete.
We collect the minimum information needed to deliver our service:
We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information to any third party. We do not run ad-retargeting pixels that share your identity with advertisers.
Enrolled students may receive course-related emails and WhatsApp messages (class reminders, batch updates). Promotional messages are only sent after explicit opt-in, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to run the site:
Enrolment and payment records are retained for at least 7 years as required under Indian tax law. Marketing subscriber lists are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are deleted after 12 months unless they became part of an enrolment.
Under the DPDPA 2023 and the IT Act SPDI Rules, you can:
Email hello@thesafetrader.in with the subject line "Data request" and we will respond within 30 days.
Access to our systems is restricted to authorised personnel, all passwords are hashed, and we use HTTPS across the site. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take the safeguards above as a baseline.
For any data-related grievance, complaint or request, please write to:

A formal Grievance Officer will be designated once the operating entity is registered; this page will be updated at that point.
We may update this page from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified to enrolled students by email.
